Lack of excitement for a fantasy adventure film. Should have more fighting scenes. Hermione and Ron were practically no-action as Harry's sidekicks. David Yates killed Harry Potter.

I hate to do this to a Harry Potter film. But then again, I guess this is being shared around. I am so gonna be reluctant to buy and own the DVD. I think this movie should be re-make immediately.
Sigh...
A 4.
Sorry Harry.

I enjoyed watching the movie. I thought it was good. However, there are quite a few things, which I found interesting in the book and they didn't put in the movie. I thought that they should have mentioned some of these things in the movie. Keeping the book in mind, the movie was a little disappointing. I thought that the book was a lot better than the movie. It might just be me, but it's the way that I feel about the book and the movie.

I am sorry to say that I am quite disappointed with this latest Harry Potter movie. It's just nothing special about it. I can't feel "the magic" now. I think it's getting more and more like those teenage movies where everything is about boys and girls stuffs. And even though it's implied that there's "a bigger picture" that Harry has to face, but it's just so-so. I like the previous movies better.

Hi,
My family and I watched this movie about weeks ago.
We only managed to watched the first one and the
recent one (The Half Blood Prince). I like the
graphics very much, can consider a 'must watch' movie!
Even though we missed all the earlier episodes, we still
can relate the story, who is who, etc...
Btw, this movie has added extra..love scenes
Most of my friends said, the book are better than the movie.
They have higher expectation and some said, certain scenes
was not in...
All the best and do share your views at my latest topic too

i liked the movie but there were a lot of good parts in the book that weren't included in the movie. i do not really blame the producers/director because the movie would be really long if they'd include everything. i liked the cave scene. the inferi looked strangely a lot like gollum. lol

I am eagerly waiting for this movie to be released in our country. Although i have got already its DVD :p..but wont watch it. i am revising all earlier 5 movies of the potter series. and i think all of them are of no comparison when it comes to Harry Potter books. JK Rowling is a genius. The way she wrote the books is simply incredible. We actually breathe in HP's world while reading the books. Anyway, I strongly belief that the movie would be worth it. Come on guys, it cant be worse than HP1 movie. still we love that one too much.

I'm not really a fan of the Harry Potter films, compared to the books they're always disappointing and in my opinion don't do the story justice. But out of all the films I think I enjoyed this one the most. I though the beginning was beautiful, with Harry and Dumbledore coming out of the ministry surrounded by journalists. And Jim Broadbent was a great choice to play Slughorn :)
