Why do young women fall for men older than them? Is it for security?

I wonder if this holds true to others because, I noticed that most women fall for older men because of security. But I also noticed that some young women fall for older men because they see a father figure in them. Is this right?

I don't know how true that is. I was married to a younger man (4 years yonger) for 12 years. Then he left me for a much older woman (by 11 years). I was devesitated. Then I met a man who treated me like I have never been treated before. I felt beautifull again, and smiled like I never had before. I started dating him. Not knowing how old he was, I didn't even think about it. He acted as if he was only in his 30's And just before we married I found out he was 16 years older then me. But, I had fallen in love with him and so I did marry him. We have now been married for 14 years. He has fallen sick over the last year and sometimes impossible to even talk to. But, I married for better or worse. And I will be here for him, he was always here for me. And I do beleive in my vows. I guess some do marry for security. But I married for love.

Me my self is in a relationship with a man 14 years older than i am. I dont know if i could say that I am really inlove, but i do love him, guess its different from inlove. Anyway, security? Also the factor, and based on my experiences with the same age range, the relationship didn't turn out good. I found older guys capable of handling a relationship really good, smoothly as possible. I dont know, it just, I am happy.

I agree because older men are mature, responsible, patient and understanding than younger men. I don't see why you shouldn't be happy. I just could remember a colleague who said she will marry a man who is a good speaker, intelligent, understanding and patient. Well, it just turn out that most men of these qualities are already taken. Well, God Bless her. May she find what she's looking for. Thanks for dropping by aahnnjo.

I think you are right. Young women always fall for the older man, i dont know why too, but maybe because they want to get more reliable man. Maybe they think that the old one is more honest than the young...lol

Hey,
I think that the main reason is because most of the time they know how to make good decisions, have more of a financial state and of course it is for security. But I don't really know why women marry men who are like 30 years older, that is just too much. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I used to heard people said, someone who find partner way to older than them is because they're lack of paternal love. Like a young girl, if she's looking for someone around her dad's age, that's probably because she didn't get enough of her father's love.
Well, I don't know whether that's true or not. One thing for sure, love sure is blind, especially when you're young.

Some girls would explain it that way. But I just hope that won't be the reason because this would only hurt the men. It would be unfair on the man's part. I hope that when the girls marry, it should be for romantic love. Not for the need of a paternal love. Thanks for dropping by.
