Do you prefer Desktop PC or Laptop ?

I prefer a laptop because of ots portability. You can take the laptop anywhere and for a small fee you can get a wireless network card and go online wherever you go. There are many advantages to having a laptop that I like over a desktop.

I like to use laptop because it easiest to carry to around the world.

Well it really depends on what you really want. I prefer laptop because of its portability and I could take it wherever I go. But then again my battery is losing it's charge and turns off on me for about 10 mins (I learned that when I was giving a presentation at school, thank goodness we had another laptop on hand). So now I use my computer as a desktop computer hooked up to another monitor while I use a wireless mouse and keyboard. If your battery isn't that good and it really bothers you when your using it you should probably get the desktop, or you can bring it with you but you'll need your power cables. Personally I'd go with laptops because its portable and takes up less space in my room.

pc is the best option to use.Laptops has lots advantages but battery is the main problem,replacement cost is heavy.It increase with years.But there is no problem with pc.We can afford current cost.

Both of them have their own pros and cons. However, I would like laptop because of the freedom we can have. If we work on a desktop computer, we have to sit and work where it has been placed; but in case of a laptop, we can carry it anywhere we wish and without any difficult. I am also owning a laptop, which is pretty good to work with. Laptops are becoming cheap now a days.

Using a laptop is great for portability and whatnot, but if you want to be able to customize your computer, a desktop is the way to go. You can upgrade many different aspects and stuff. Yeah :D

I suggest laptop is more better if you are using system for development and you are mobile. else desktop is the best. performance wise, maintenance wise and also more user friendly as you are sitting in your home, you feel more comfort.

portability is only best thing in laptop...but if u need performance u need desktop....for the price u bought laptop for that price u can get a very good desktop on which u can get ultimate performance much much better than laptop.....i first had desktop then now i have got laptop after a year...but desktop is much better than laptop

I prefer a Laptop because it is portable and you can take your work with you. THe flaw with a Laptop is it does not have a lot of memory, so you need to have a flash drive handy if you want to store a lot of information, on the go. Sadly though I don't own a laptop so it doesn't matter anyway. Haha.

I love to use desktop just because of keyboard i feel uncomfort with laptop key board or else Laptop is good in other things like carrying,Internet connection etc

I like to work with the laptop for its portability. Also it is possible for us to take it to our friends place if we need some clarifications regarding anything with the computer or the software or the educational information we are dealing with.

For playing games I prefer a desktop, as it is usually a stronger computer and it has all the criteria the games that I play need. For surfing the webz and just regular internet usage, I rather using my laptop because I can do it almost from everywhere (depends if there is a connectable wifi in the erea...)

I am very happy with my laptop, and I prefer using it rather that my PC at home. I can bring my laptop anywhere and its very light weight. By the may laptop is a toshiba portege.

I prefer a desktop because it can be more powerful and you can change parts to update it easily. Also I like big screens and good sound, something really unconfortable with a laptop. And as Sonusd said I'm not confortable with the laptop keyboard.

I think DESktop it can handle heavy games like 3d, especially when you are editing for example on Photoshop, a picture or movie. while the laptop, I have so much problem about loading progarm..

well i'd prefer a desktop. cos thought the laptop is portable but it often have difficulties when you use it to play HDmovies or play 3d-games. and a desktop can handle it easly.

i prefer desktop. laptops are cool too, but in desktop, all is well...
