Hy everyone.
How often do you hang out with your friends?
I think this is a big problem nowadays...People don't come out their houses anymore.Sometimes because they use the computer too much, sometimes maybe they don't have enough money...
What do you think? I think people that don't hang out are just too manipulated.
And where do you like to hang out?Bars, clubs,at friends' houses etc?

manipulated?? sorry but I disagree wholeheartedly....The ONLY reasons I don't hang out with my friends more than a couple times a yr is because majority of them live in a different country or State, I dont drive, they all work etc...In fact NONE of my friends live close to me..the nearest is a good 45 min drive from me and they have busy lives (family/kids, jobs, etc)..the rest live in places like Canada, california, ohio etc etc (I'm in NY)...LOL its not that I'm "too manipulated" by the computer/interet or anything else...its just not that doable..

When you have family and kids,of course you can't have the same social life you had before.
But I was talking more about young people (specially about the ones younger than 30).Only few of them come out their house, excepting going to work.Even children...they stay at the computer or play at home instead of going out and playing with other children. That's not okay.
I think that the job(or school in other cases) doesn't have to take all of your time. You have to find some time for yourself.

well having two teens of my own who have several friends and cousins ranging in ages from 11 to 24 I have to say that very few of them sit about at home doing nothing....I mean we live in the country and still my kids are very social etc..but its something that I encourage to an extent...
One thing to remember too since you are takling about the younger generation is th fact that (especially with teens today)..the parents/caregivers these days tend to be too busy to be a part of their kids lives etc...College students have their plate full with studies and just surviving in the world today and so on ya know...LOL its definately not like it was when I was a teen thats for sure! Or for that matter when I was in my 20s...I was a single mom raising two little ones, taking care of the house/bills/cooking cleaning etc etc, I was goin to school AND working full time and I still made sure I had a good time..

I use my computer a lot and I enjoy surfing the internet, but I also love to go out with my friends. When I meet my friends we often drive around and visit different parts of the country. I love seeing new places and here in my country there are more than 400 different islands, I always enjoy exploring those islands. I also like to go out for dinner, to go to a café, a club etc. If we don't have a lot of money we usually to stay at home instead, and then we just talk and drink tea or coffee. I think that the internet is great and I can spend many hours online, but I would never spend all my time on the computer, because I love going out, and I would miss it a lot, if I didn't go out with my friends anymore.
