Life is getting hard. And as a father, it is heart-breaking to see my family hardly eating a very good diner. And as a teacher, the market is quite low that it pushes me to do a career shift or at least do part-time jobs. Hopefully, I get to get one soon.
How about you? Would you take a part time job?

I am a single mom of 2 teenagers and took a paycut in April and my ex stopped paying child support in December! I took a second job working on the weekends to help us afford to keep our house and pay our bills.
I now work every day of the week. I am exhausted. Would I do it again? Absolutely! My family comes first and I would do whatever it takes to keep food on our table and a roof over our heads.
Do not sweat it. there are many in our same boat.

Hey, thanks for the response. Your response somehow encouraged me to find one. Hopefully, it would be soon. I really don't know to which should I spend my effort. Anyway, thanks a lot and God bless.

I am a single person but I would love to have a part-time job. Especially the kind of econonmy that we have and most especially, my grandmother is going dialysis which is very costly. But unfortunately, I work as a call center agent and that is a grave-yard shift. I work from 11pm to 8am. So I really don't have much time to get a part-time work. I might be able to let my grandmother go to a dialysis session, but in the end, I might be the one sent to a hospital because of fatigue and stress.
As a Christian, we should also include prayers in all the hardwork that we do everyday. We might want to bring food and give all the needs to our loved ones but let us not also forget that the Almighty is the best provider.

Amen and amen. Jehovah Jireh rocks! The true provider of all things is God Himself. However, we should also consider that we are the ones given authority over the creation. We should then look after it. I tend to look after my own family for now.

In these dire financiall-hard times, one must take a part time job. I consider blogging as my part time job. After my regular work, I go home and "work", I find it more financially rewarding than taking outside part time jobs. It is also less expensive as I don't have to spend for fair, snacks , etc. And I have control of my time. You should put up a blog. I'll help you with it. It's a good part time job. Cheers.

That's the only driving force that pushes to me to do so, my family. Fathering two sons is somehow too hard to swallow especially for young fathers like me.

yes, as long as there are part time jobs available that pays enough, i would definitely go for that. recession has really not ended and global crisis is still dominant, we should all know on how to save and how to be more hard working
