Do you prefer to drive at day or night?

It depends on where and why I am driving. If I am holidaying and want to see where I'm going and the sites I like to drive during the daylight, but if I have a set destination in mind, I like to drive at night when the traffic is lighter, there are fewer nitwits on the road and the only thing I have to watch out for generally is the wildlife. Driving at night before shoppers have all gone home though is a pain as most people do not realize that they have a dimmer switch to dim their driving lights so that they do not blind oncoming traffic. When I learned to drive, I took a driver's training course and the instructor taught us to watch the hydro lines along the highway for the oncoming traffic's lights. You can see them dim their lights and if they do not, you can be prepared to look away from the middle of the road when their lights first hit you and thus save your eyes. It is harder in the city where some bozos don't even turn their lights on and you can't see them. I find it really hard to see signal lights on dark bright red vehicles when the sun is shining on them. There aught to be a law about red cars.

night vision is really important and it the type of terrain also matter. it safe and easy to drive in high range during day because the vision can be reduced due to fog. and so is the case when raining.

I live in the country (USA UPSTATE New York), almost no street lites; don't think other drivers know about low-beam. So it's day driving that I prefer.

yes you are right. Street lighting is not at all effective here in india. That makes it very dificult to drive and also the condition of roads here in india is pathetic.,.. Nic yo hear that you love driving. good.. VROOM VROOM

i guess you are pretty buzy during day and you might have enugh work during day time...... that might be the reason why you feel sleepy while you are driving at night. But driving early morning is amazing. pretty normal like night driving. But later on it is hectice to drive during the office hours....

ya hot wheather just takes away the pleasure away even if you have got a built in powerfull cooling system. the rush and the buzy atmosphere is nt at all good for driving expecially for long distances. but acceptabe for short distances becoz we have to.
