lol that sounds like a kid alright. if you have a lot of people for his birthday, you certainly can make all that. kids are always funny when u ask what they want. but once you reach that certain age of maturity, being greedy just isnt right anymore.
its a great reminder of how great being a child is. you can say things and people will just laugh and think its cute. once your older its not the same anymore.

I don't think he was being greedy at all. I ask him what he wanted so he just named all fis favorite things. I don't think he has learned greedy yet & i hope he want. Thanks for your response.

LOL that is so cute. Thank you for that little giggle. Your grandson sounds like he sure has quite the appetite. Most kids usually say Hot dogs and hamburgers that they want. But I have never heard of meat loaf baked beans and mac and cheese. I really like the baked beans one. HEHE

Bwahahahaa - I think your grandson's chosen menu sounds absolutely perfect for a discerning young lad of that age! What more could you want? After all, you only have a birthday once a year - and a fifth birthday only once in your life. I hope it's a wonderful celebration for the whole family - you sound like a happy tribe! Enjoy!

OMG, Antique, friend!!!
That little boy must be starving. You´d better make adjustments or you´ll be eating leftover the rest of the year. I´d go join you, but I live too far away. Maybe next year

definitely! i love homemade mac and cheese! well, one good thing is that is cheaper for you not having to go out but more work! here at our house, we usually let the birthday person pick what they want for a meal on the day of their birthdays. for me, its fondue or pasta (or both on different nights!) one daughter loves ceaser salad and the other likes tacos, both easy to make...hubby, well he just wants a steak!

I would love too! Sounds like a wonderful meal that he's got planned for his birthday. All his favorites! No sweets either! Wow...I'm impressed! That's so sweet that he likes his grandma's cooking versus going out to eat. Give him a big kiss and tell him Happy Birthday!

The little "rascal" wants Grandma to make him a banquet of his favourite foods! LOL! I don't see that he has listed any desserts, so you will only have to cook three-quarters of the day....NOT ALL Day! Sounds like you are going to have a great time on Thursday....are you going on an outing to? Have fun, my dear JO!
Cheers!

A Dairy Queen cake is something that I have NEVER tasted....and they look so scrumdilicious on T.V. So, please have a portion for me! There is NO WAY of getting one from Vancouver Island to Galiano Island without it turning into a very fancy milkshake! LOL! So you will have to make me drowl...and tell me all about it, and your fantastic birthday celebration...Bobo, with the little "man of your life!" Have a wonderful day, that special memories are made of! Thanks for sharing, the little man's requests, a bright and fun discussion. Take care, my friend! Luv ya...and Cheers!

I have two great nephews named "Ryan". One of them is probably about 27 years old now and I haven't seen him in years! I guess he was about 10 years old the last time I saw him. His daddy is my nephew and they live in Orange Beach, Alabama, which is about a 6 or 7 hour drive from here.
The other Ryan would probably be 14 by now. He and his family live in Trussville, Alabama, which is on the other side of Birmingham. His mother is my niece. Birmingham is only about 1 hour drive from here and you would think they would come to see me more often! They stay pretty busy, though. Kathy.
