I love to cook. I came to realize that olive oil and vegetable oil are used in our cooking/baking. What makes this oil any difference? Since they are the oil for cooking too.

I use olive oil when cooking, but that is just my preference really and something that I found out just in the last couple of years(this because I didn't use it much until recently) Olive oil you really don't want to use for cakes because it make the cake very heavy and if you frost it the cake falls apart. I have cooked with peanut oil before but I always thought that I smelled peanuts for hours after.

Vegetable oil is derived from plants or fruits so olive oil is under this. Olive oil is healthy but not good to be used for frying since it has low smoke point. happy mylotting!
