When I first joined MyLot I started out by responding to discussions that had no responses. It wasn't as much that I wanted to be first, but more because I felt bad that these disucssions didn't have any responses and I wanted to help the original poster! I don't do that so much anymore... I'm not sure why.

I like to be the first responder but it is more of a competition type thing really then anything else. Some people say it makes you more, but I'm not really sure whether it does or not. I can say I used to be concerned with that, but now just like to be the first responder to have a bit of a competition between myself and anyone else who might respond. Silly, I know but it does make a good fun thing to do whilst on this site.

I don't care whether I am first or last, it makes no different to me. If any discussion catch my attention and I have a piece of mind to say in it, I'll respond, regardless of where my comment will be in that discussion. It's not a matter of being first, I just want to say something. That's all.

No.I have no such preferences.Generally I respond to a discussion that catches my attention and in which I have something to say.I do not read any other responses before posting my own because that may influence the way I am thinking.I always try to express my thoughts clearly when responding to a particular topic.Whether I am the first to respond or not does not really matter to me.Nice question I must say! :-) Happy posting!
