What is your favorite musical instrument, to play or to listen to ?

i play bass guitar in a band, since then i have sensitive ears with the bass sounds in every music i listen... though it is not fun to listen to bass alone har har har. i like listening to guitars and piano specially if the pianist are really good and playing was like breathing for them. you can feel the music even it has no words just listening to it makes you understand the stroy of the music alone.

Hi greenline! And what an unbeliveable instrument to listen to! It is like listening to angels playing isn't it? I could never even imagine learning how to play such a complex instrument! I, myself have tried to play the violin and flute! But, only for a minute when I was quite young! I did have a children's organ that my parent's bought me that I would play by ear! My father played piano and I guess I just had a bit of talent, but couldn't ever master anything or reading music because I had no patience! The music that I like is quite different though. It varies from rock to rap! Kind of strange for my age! I just love a variety of music, both from when I was a teen to now! Definitely have a varied collection! Would definitely confuse anyone!

I enjoy listening to the saxophone. It's nice to listen to more than one instrument, preferrably I could listen to a medley of instruments like the flute, harp, and piano. But I guess the saxophone is my favorite, followed by the flute and then the harp. The harp is lovely.

my favorite musical instrument, to play or to listen to is a piano, because it is very versatile, it can immitate the sounds of other instruments and create a sound of it's own. That makes me want to like it.

Hi Greenline! As you probably already know, I play three instruments: The guitar, piano, and the harmonica. My favorite instrument to play and listen to is the guitar. I sing at one nursing home and one assisted living facility every month and I always accompany myself on the guitar. I took guitar lessons for several years when I was a teenager. I started playing it when I was 13 and I'm still at it, lol. I also like to listen to a steel guitar. This instrument, as I'm sure you know, is very popular in country music. It's also the most dominant instrument in Hawaiian music. Kathy.

I love all types of music.I play the violin,the auroharp,and the guitar.I love playing the guitar the best these days.I haven't played my autoharp in years.And as for the violin,it has been along time.I love to hear Chopin's piano pieces.I don't play piano so I can Really enjoy the music. When I hear any piece I have played on the violin,Istop being a listener and start being a critic.

I dabble on piano and guitar, and I hope to soon get a synthesizer, it is very versatile, and makes a variety of different sounds. As far as listening goes, I enjoy strings. I have a good friend who plays cello and she is absolutely phenomenal in both her playing and the songs she's composed (she plays a whole ton of other instruments as well). She has so much emotion in what she plays and the songs she writes and because most of her songs are personal, it makes their overall meaning all the more poignant. Her stage presence is properly intimate as well. She's quite talented. She's working on several new albums at the moment and I hope she goes far with all she's doing. As far as listening in general, I listen to all kinds of music. I actually like the classics and the non-mainstream genres and artists better than the current mainstream sounds that are out there now. In addition to strings, I also love intricate piano and guitar harmonies, but in all honesty, I really enjoy listening to any instrument if I feel it fits the mood of the piece/song well.

I think all peoples like to listen music, but difrent slyle music. I also like it. My favourite music instrument is electric guitar and electric fiddle, that sounds make me loud. Also i like drums. But I regret to say that I wished to know how to play electic guitar.
