Rich or Poor or middle class

Hubby says we're middle class. If anything we are on the lower end of that as we do qualify for some assistance. But you know sometimes it sux, when you are part of the "catch 22". You are not rich enough to afford luxuries like pre-school for example, but "too rich" for head start.... and have the kids who have no idea how to handle school because we couldn't afford it & we were not "poor" enough. I think there is a broader range of people who are just getting by that fit inbetween "poor" & "middle class"

As of just a few months ago we are low income too. My boyfriend lost his job and mine isn't always that great paying. Tips are never a for sure thing.

If being middle means having a stable job, being able to afford 3 meals a day and being able to send my kids to a decent school, then I guess I can classify myself to be middle class. I am not without obligations though, so I still need sources of extra income which was the initial reason why I discovered mylot hehe

Hello Grandma. How are you ? Well, I do have a full time job, which pays me fairly well. I am not in the "Rich" class though. It will take a long time to get there, if I even get there ! LOL ! But, I am happy, I have a job that I like. Keeps me fairly busy too.

Hey, Well I am not in the poor or the medium class, I would have to say that I fall in between the poor and the middle class. I one day wish that I could be in the rich to medium class, in between them. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

Worse than middle classed, better than poor. I can keep myself well-fed, and sanitary, so that's good enough! As you can tell, I have internet, too. :) So you see where I'm at!

I would have to say that I am in the same position as you are. I am not poor by the standards of many, but it's hard for me to survive in middle-class North America. I'm sure to some people on here, I am RICH, to those in third world countries, but here in my own country I am barely above the poverty line, if at all.

My family is middle class. I hope that by the time I am independent I will be at least middle class.

I'm neither rich, nor poor... somewhere in between, but I'm not a liberal... LoL... I'm debt-free and can afford to put some money away in savings... though, the current returns are lousy... I guess I'm in the middle of middle class?

I was just like you too imgrandma12... And i accept that facts of life in me with open heart and mind (makes me feel at the higher class for that)... I just be grateful for something i still be able to eats everyday and good enough in healthy...

Dear imgrandma, I came from very poor family living in a rubber estate. We eat what we plant and what we farm.... but life then was HAPPY! So at that point of time, I am POOR in 'materials' term but am RICH in 'living' term...lol Now married, housewife, only husband working...I would said...slightly lower than middle class! He was driving the company's car while I am driving a 17 years old car. I am better off than him, I do own a car, he owns none! Enough for 3 meals a day, dine out twice monthly, just enough to pay credit cards bills...no extra for savings. That is bad.... But I always think positively, very optimistic...God's provide! For the past 5 years, God has blessed us overseas holidays, computer desktop, computer netbook, hotel buffet vouchers, Kenny Roger's quarter meals vouchers, free cinema movie tickets etc... We do not have the cash / money to buy this luxury /entertainments, but God provide us by winning the holiday trips, the IT products, etc by [b]putting us at the right place, right time and with the right opportunity![/b] So, whether I am Rich or Poor....I think I am rich in blessings from God. I am also from middle class family & really in ned of money to have some erxtra income apart from my job. I also want to join some other sites from where I can earn some more money..
