Parents should stop naming their chidren with weird names

I had the misfortune of meeting a girl today named Kant(pronounced c*nt). And she is going through hell.why don't people realize that the more exotic the name more prone it is in to being joke? Don't think so ?
Why don't parent learn from other parent mistakes? I think that I can safely state that almost any child would prefer plain old jack or Tom rather that D'Artagnan

I do agree that parents do come up with some weird and strange names. I personally do like names that are original. My daughter's name is Destiny which is actually become pretty common now and my son's name is Justice. I named both of them the names they have for certain reasons.
I do know a couple who have children named Scout and Storm and these are their daughters. I found those names odd.
