Does age really matter when it comes to love?

I've seen people married who have a 10 year, or even more difference, and I've seen many who are at the same exact age. At a young age (or at least under the twenties) it's usually discouraged if the two have a big age difference, or even just a few years. However I find that when they're 40 or so, it "stops mattering". Do you think that people of any age can find any sort of love? Or should they be around the same age strictly?
