Beware of freelance projects

A lot of people must be knowing about freelance.com. Here you can win projects by bidding. The payment is also good. But recently I had a very bad experience. The service provider had wanted people to signup through his reference to certain sites he had mentioned. Seeing the work done he would pay up. I had bid for the project. To the response of my bidding he gave me the name of three sites which I was supposed to be registered under him. If satisfied with my work he would send me other sites to register and then payment would be made. I completed and submitted him the work and next day he again send me some sites. I again did the job as told by him. But he did not talk about my payment and send me some more sites and then he cancelled the project. As he cancelled the project I could not get in touch with him any more and the payment was never made. Of course I cancelled all the registration done by me for those sites but by then he must have earned some amount of money for the work that I had done for the sites. So I would advise people to be aware of these kind of work.
