Heya my co-mylotters! this is my first discussion raised.my subject came out of the curiosity as to how many people like me suffer facebok maniac syndrome.lol. My puter is basically on all day logging on to facebook more than i do here in mylot when i am not making anything in there.I can't remember how did it started but i just woke up one day so hooked up and always thinking of new stuff to post there like the frequent i cameup with a post and the more my friends send thier comments about my post the more it makes me high. Then i got hooked up with Farmtown game there too.So so hooked up that i have to set my harvest time so i can earn points to acquire a new level as fast as i could..mmmm..i think i have to stop now, farmtown will be another discussion i should start.lol

I think friends make Facebook fun. I tried Myspace before. My friends don't. Being alone there was no fun. I had to ask a few strangers to add me, and being a stranger, I was not accepted easily. I gave up on Facebook too, until a few friends saw me in it. They added me and suddenly I have a list of 1000 friends. It is nice to see what they are up to. :)

i think so too. there is a certain level of interactivity in facebook that is not seen in other social networking site. it creates an illusion that you can easily reach out or keep in touch with friends, which probably explains why it is so popular these days. the huge variety of app choices provide you lots of possible activities as well.

Haha, I did farmtown for a little while, but after a week or so it lost it's charm. I get on facebook occasionally, but it's not as exciting to me as it used to be. I do stayed logged in quite often because I usually don't close my browser when I leave my apartment for work or whatever else.

hi llepaopao! it's great to see you active here. first, i would like to say that i was once hooked with facebook. i really enjoy it there. it's great to see all my friends there and i love communicating with them. even if these friends are miles away, i can still stay connected with them. it seems that they are just beside me even if i haven't seen them for like ages.
i was also hooked with a few applications there such as yoville and pet society. i really enjoyed those games and spent hours. nowadays though, i have moved on from facebook. although i still log on there, i don't spend as much time now as i did in the past. in fact, i spend more time here in mylot than there. although, chatting here is not real time, but the same principle is applied. though i wish i had more real life friends like you active here in mylot.
i'd like to say that maybe the reason why you are so hooked with it is because you have nothing more productive to do. you don't really need professional help, come on! hehehe i think you just need to find something that will take your mind of facebook and i'm sure you will no longer feel obsessed. it's not bad to enjoy facebook but if the time you spend there affects your time for your husband or it affects your social life, then that is unhealthy. just strike a balance between things. you know, try to discipline yourself. and lastly, find a hobby! something that will make your body active. don't waste all those energy by sitting in front of the computer the whole day. okay? happy mylotting my friend!

Welcome to Mylot! I hope you like it here, that you have fun, and also earn some money. I'm not on Facebook myself, but have a friend who spends lots of time there. I did open an account some time ago as my daughters are also there. But I don't even remember the password. I'm more into places where I can also earn as I want to continue to support myself without having to go back to a regular job.

I was just invited to join facebook just a few days ago. I wa curious about the website, but had never investigated its full spectrum. I did join and maked a few connections. I haven't decided if it is something that I will continue to contribute to. The person who invited me to join is definitely hooked on facebook. I hope I don't get that obsessed.

i think being obsessed has something to do with having not to do as well.but if you are busy person with plenty of things goin on your life maybe that wpuld limit your probability to getting obsessed.unlike me im a fulltime housewife and i stay home most of the timeso i turn to facebook for fun.gudluck to you though;)
