This is driving me mad, any way round it?

Hi all, sometimes I receive very interesting long responses on a topic I have posted. I comment and receive a response back - now it's a discussion. The problem is when I want to reply back and refer to their response it does not show above the box I'm typing in. Is there any way to see the response? Please do not get technical in your replies or if you need to please explain step by step as if guiding a computer moron. Many thanks in advance.

Hahaha... yes you're right, I'm having trouble about that too. Sometimes I wonder why myLot creating their detail like that, they show only the first responder above input form, but most of my "job" is re-commenting the response, it's drive me crazy too 
. So, for the solution, if the last comment is pretty complicated to remember I usually copy the lines and paste it to microsoft words, so that I can still read the comment.

Hi again flaredust, many thanks for taking the time to post this explanation which sadly has been a waste of your time unless other computer idiots see it and learn. When I asked you to explan I then also had the brilliant idea of asking my ten year old if he knew how to copy and paste and he has just spent half an hour very patiently teaching me how to do it. I asked him if he learnt that in computer classes and he said he'd already worked it out himself before the teacher taught it.

This is real problem and thanks for raising this issue Thea. I face this problem whenever I want to comment open a long response. What I do is just COPY PASTE the whole response and after I write my comment I delete it. But then. this is cumbersome. I just wish mylot comes up with the idea of highlighting all the comments in whatever way suits them. may be in hyperlinks.

i usually just keep the email notification open while i'm responding.
for the ones that are friends that is,you can't do it directly on mylot.

they expect you to remember what you were gonna say lol. but the best advice would be open a new tab or window.

Hi natnickeep, I have been practicing this coion to copy and paste method as suggested above but not really got the hang of it yet. It is really ridiculous the actual function too see the point you are answering isn't available especially as so many responses here show that others wish they had this funcion too.

could be a glitch in the site or something. best thing to do is tell mylot about it.
