I do share my lunch with colleagues. I think it is a token of love and at the same time you will get to taste differnt dishes. Since I stay in a hostel my dishes won't be that good most of the time. Do you share your lunch with colleagues? Do you have lunch in office alone or in dining hall along with colleagues? Do you get lunch for free from office?

I share my lunch with my colleagues many times. When we share some food then our friendship is increase or love also increase. Sharing of lunch also helpful to make more choice between food,, if i like lunch of other friend or colleagues then we share it. Its not a bad thing its a good one... just like now that we share our thoughts...

Yes, I agree with you. More than the fact tht you will get to taste different dishes, I value the fact that it activates the friendship. Life is full of sharings. I value the happienss I get but sharing the food. I also value the bond of friendship and helping each other mentality I build by doing this. Thanks for the response.

That is fine because you should also take care of your food at the same time have fun with your colleagues. I am surprised to read that you prepare your lunch at office. How can this happen? If I do it at my office, everybody will make fun of me. More than that my manger wil warn me and ask me not to do it. I live in India. It seems you have a different culture. Thanks for the response.

I only share my food with my colleagues during pot lucks. The other time than that is no way. I will keep them to myself, thank you. I don't plan to share as I noticed none would do the same. A lot might come to eat but giving nothing when it come to their part. Hmm, better keep it all to myself. Usually I'll eat in the staff room, pantry to be specific. I don't have time to enjoy my meal at the cafeteria so I'll wrap what I want and eat when I have the time to.

Hi Daliaj, I think it is better to share lunch instead of just eating alone :D LOL what is the point? I dont think there is a reason to eat alone especially at a work place as it is a way to change and see different things/places or simply try new things. It is nice to have a regular talk instead of work work work... The thing that I dont like about dining halls is that they usually have all kinds of smells of food around them which is not nice sometimes especially if you dont like the smell :D or you dont eat that dish Happy MyLotting & thx for the nice topic

Yes, you are right, there is an issue regarding smells. It will be difficult for vegetarian people if the person who sits next to them brings non-veg food. Yes, it is very good not only to share the food but also talk something other than work. We do that all the time during lunch break and tea breaks. Today we talked about the new Harry Potter movied during lunch break and made plans to go for it on this weekend.
