When i went to Italy for many years ago.The first meal in Italy you may guess right.I ate Pizza surely.I wanted to know about the real Italian pizza in Italy compare the pizza in my country.I was sad why they different tasted from my country very much, they had a little ingredients and very thin flour.I thought i didn't like the real italian pizza really.Do you think alike me, each countries have independent styles of foods. I ever remarked when Italian tourists ordered the pizza in my country. They would order alike in their country too.

I've never been to Italy, either, so I have never had authentic Italian pizza. I do love many different styles of pizza, so I might like the way they do it there as well. Never know until I try it! Hopefully one day I will get to experience it firsthand.

I have never been to Italy either but I love the the food network channel and on there one time they explained that the different regions of Italy all make their pizzas' differently. Some use no base sauce, other use white sauce but it looked like they only put a few toppings on it they don't seem to pile it on the way that they do in the states.

Hi busky, I have never been to Italy (yet) so have not sampled their pizza. I was in Malta once though which is the nearest island to Italy and had pizza there and it was the best I have ever tasted, thin base and crispy as I like. I presume it was the geographical influence which made it taste so good, plus the wood oven.
