What do you fear the most?

People have some phobia or the other. Some are pretty harmless whereas some disrupt not only their lives, but also their near and dear ones too.
Some are afraid of going in a lift, some cannot be in a dark room, some cannot sleep alone in a room.
So, what do you fear the most?And, has it ever affected you in any way?

I am afraid of darkness, even in my own house I cannot stay in the dark completely so I have to light a small bulb or a candle somewhere to get the light from it, I can however stay in the darkness with people around me but to stay alone in darkness worry me.

yeah i know someone who has the same fear. She is so restless that due to this fear she even sleepwalks without knowing about it.

To live with such fear is sometimes natural but when we have people around who know about this and want to play with us then this turn bad for me. Well when I am in a dark room then I manage to sleep and to do not look around me too much because I tend to imagine things which does not exist at all.

Snakes! There is nothing in this world that freaks me out as much as those creepy scary reptiles do. One look at even a non-poisonous one, which is crawling around, drives me crazy.
Another, big fear.. Being alone. Cant picture that..
Heights scare me a lot as well. All that I can think of, when am at the top of a tall building is my body tumbling down & hitting the ground!

:) you do have a lot of fears.
There is a program called Past Life Regression. Here, the guru makes you visit your past lives and help you understand what you want to know. It seems that it also enables the person to understand why he/she fears something so much and by knowing the reason behind the fear, the fear disappears.
I, personally, cannot vouch for it, but there was this friend of mine who went to one such place wherein this program is run and he came out knowing a few answers to some questions which had been niggling him for a long time.

i am scared of snakes ... i dont even watch them on the tv as .. i will start dreaming about them .. there were times i actually dream them crawling up to the 4th floor .. my apartment
Now my husband has decided to buy a house and we already paid the initial payment ... and i am scared of this snakes only ... That is why i told him to get a condo .. but then .. men always decides the final words
May god never show them to me at all ..

thanks for the fast response. yeah, i know a lot of people who have the same fear as you. There are a few friends of mine who are afraid of lizards and get scared when they see one crawling across the ceiling of a room. So much so, they run out of the room itself.

I have never been to keen on spiders especially those that sometimes find thir way into my bath. Additionally the great big hunting ones that suddenly appear from nowhere and run across the floor are pretty hideous. How people can keep spiders as pets totally escapes me. Apart from that I am incredibly brave except when I see a film of a preying mantis eating some poor insect or harmless little humming bird. I will stop typing now as I am beginning to scare myself!
