I am so happy, I have finally gotten a call back on one of my applications, I have been trying all summer to get a job. But there is one thing, next month I planned a vacation for a week, bought my airline tickets and made all my plans, do I tell the interviewer, or do I wait until I am hired. Now the trip is only in twenty days, so if I do not tell this person it may seem like I purposely didn't include it at the interview, what should I do? I don't want to hurt my chances of getting a job, but I also don't want to seem like I am manipulative. What do you think mylot?

Hi Sugarplum, nice to meet you again...
You must notify your vacation plans to people who interviewed you, whatever the consequences. Honesty sometimes is not fun, but it will relieve your heart. You do not have the moral burden. Believe it, whatever happens is the way you live, you must face with a smile.
Happy nice day..

I would see if I could alter my travel plans first; if not at all possible, then I would inform my interviewer and try to arrange a start date after my trip. If the job is more important than the vacation, I would choose the job if forced to make a choice.
The answer to your problem is inside you, what is truly more important to you, the job or the vacation. Be true to yourself but be aware of the consequences of your choices. I have faith that you will make the right choice for you, even if it is last minute.
Congrats and Best Wishes for a GREAT interview.

I hate to say it but times are tough and I would just not mention it unless they offer you the job. And if they offer you the job consider cancelling or postphoning your trip, as jobs are hard to come by nowdays.
