i spend hours in front of the internet! is this a disease??

If you're spending so much time on the internet that it's interfering with your daily life, then you might be in trouble. Not sleeping because you don't want to get off the computer isn't a very good sign. There is such a thing as spending too much time on the computer. Then again, I spend hours upon hours on the internet every day, but I earn supplemental income during the hours that I'm online, which is the only reason. I take breaks every so often to give my eyes a rest and to get exercise and do whatever I need to do. If I were you, I would start limiting the amount of time you spend on the computer because it's not good to be so addicted to it that you don't want to leave it. Start cutting back your computer time little by little and substitute that with something else you like to do such as reading, watching tv, going for a walk, etc. At some point, if you get on less and less, then you won't mind quite so much when you have to get off. :)

i also posses the same problem but as my college is reopened slowly i am getting away from this addiction.have a good day

No my dear friend it is not the disease. As i see from your profile you are just 18 years old and you want to earn money from Internet this is the only reason you are infront of internet. My suggestion would be try to concentrate your mind on studies and do internet works for Pocket Money. Surely you will go far more in your studies.
