The fact that he was my friend and confidant before we even started going out together. We have been together for nearly 11 years, and have a 5 year old daughter, and being "best mates" first above all else, has made us treat each other with respect and show our daughter that mum and dad are each others best friend.
So, I'm grateful that my husband is not only my lover, but he's also the father of our child, and my best friend. You can't get much luckier than that, and I'm sure our daughter feels lucky to have happy parents too.
I suppose I'm trying to say that his friendship and companionship, and his loyalty is what is most important to me.
why romances do or don’t work out? I am keen to know what is it that makes your relationship a successful one!

The most significant thing that I am grateful for in my relationship is that my husband is a great Dad!He communicates well with our 2 year old son. I am happy that he is nice to me. I am happy that he is a non smoker and drinker. But I am the happiest to see him bond so well with our son that our son just looks up to him for everything! He is the best!

I'm so lucky to have my boyfriend in my life. Too many to mention about his significance in my life and in our relationship. The important thing for me is, he loves me more that i expected to be loved. And I realized that God gave me the reason to smile again.

I just now started seeing a young man. We are close in age and I am grateful for his understanding with some things that are too important to me. He respects me and my opinions and that means a lot to me. I appreciate that he tries to make me smile and tells me he thinks he's lucky to have found me.

I can't think of THE most significant thing that I appreciate about him - I feel like everything that he does for me/our relationship is significant. However, lately, he's been more thoughtful and considerate. Life has been tough financially, lately. So lately, he's been calling more and making sure that I don't think about money (or lack thereof) too much. He's starting to plan things that we can do together that doesn't require a lot of money, if any at all. He calls to say goodnight more often.
I just feel closer to him - closer and closer everyday. Yet not close enough. Such is life.

My hubby and I where high school sweethearts. We had been friends for the first couple years of school and then started dating in our senior year. nearly 13 yr.s later we are 1 or=f 3 couples that we are friends with who have not gotten a divorce or more. For this I am thankful we have not only a strong enough relationship but the honesty, humor, and perseverance to get through the tough times. He is my best friend and confidant as well as my lover, father of my kids and prince of my parents, yes my parents adore him.

in my case me and my boyfriend is getting stronger as we face the day together. troubles come and go. yet we're still holding on to each other. and though we're in a long distance relationship im grateful that he understands me. whenever we're having some misunderstandings we talk about it and trying to fix it. and just like a friend he listens to me whenever i have something confidential to tell. we trust each other and we love each other through thick and thin. that's the significant thing im grateful :)

I am really greateful that my significant other is always supportive of me, always there for me, always honest, always loving of me and is always trying to understand my moods, my attitudes.... he is soo patient at me and is always so dependable, to add, he loves me more than i could explain... he always fetches me from work, sometimes from work to our home, and to bring me to my work... he doesnt mind being late, just as long it is for me...
