Read the discussion before commenting

Good afternoon fellow myLotters!! Have you ever gotten a response to a discussion that you posted that did not have anything to do with your discussion?? Today I just read a comment on one of my discussion post that was absolutely rude. I asked for opinions on see a movie and got told I was a "whiny fan boy" (First off if they had looked at my profile, I am a 30 yr old female!!!) and that I couldn't do it any better. Never once did I say I could. I asked for opinions because in my situation of forced vacation :) (Laid off) I like knowing others opinions on something like this (watching a movie). I don't want to waste the $10 if the majority of the opinions are negative. Maybe that's just me though. In my opinion I think that if you're going to comment on someone's post you need to read the whole discussion before commenting. Has this happened to you before? Do you read the discussion before commenting? Oh well! Thanks for reading and Happy myLotting!!!
