Ketchup or mustard?

I like Ketchup over Mustard. It is weird though, because I hate tomatoes. Mustard has this gritty taste to it, while ketchup is cooling, yet tasty.

I'm allergic to mustard, so I can't put that on my hot dogs. But if I wasn't allergic, I'd like to put honey mustard on my hot dogs! I like my hot dogs with ketchup and onions! Chili and cheese is good too sometimes, but I have to be in the mood for that!

I am addicted to hot dogs. That was my favorite daily lunch during my college days. There was a hot dog shop about ten minutes walk from the campus. I would walk straight to the shop at lunch break. The shop owner would then shout "mustard ?", and I would shout back "Yeah". And, he would put lots of mustard. Ha ha ! So, delicious !

oh my hotdogs must have catsup and frenchs yellow mustard 'definitely and hamburgers must have good pickles, and catsup also. also a nice'slice of onion is really good or else a good pickle relish. hot dogs served in good sauerkraut is fantastic as are hot dogs'in ' good baked beans thats so good. yum yum

Hi PSmith, I don't actually eat hot dogs, hamburgers of ketchup, strange I know. But I adore mustard, the hotter the better. It goes into salad dressings, with meat, coated on steak before cooking; my absolute favourite though is English mustard with roast potatoes. It has to be the kind I make up myself though not from a jar. The actual mustard sold here is really a German kind I believe as the Greeks don't really go in for mustard, if it is available it is very mild and comes in something like a ketchup bottle. More recently grain mustards have become available in the shops though which is a huge improvement.

well.... on hot dogs i use cole slaw and mustard only because really, hotdogs were made to be eaten with mustard. I really love ketchup but i don't really like sauces with bread because they make it very soggy and insightful. I prefer ketchup on fries or fried chicken not on hotdogs or burgers. I like my hamburgers with a lot of veggies and cole slaw alone, no other toppings, that way it is like a protein pill. But really to answer your question, i prefer ketchup for the sweet and flavorful taste. I don't prefer mustard because it lowers sperm cell production and also it doesn't have much of an attractive taste....

I definitly like mustard more than ketchup. I don't really like ketchup. I have never heard of mayonaise or sour kraut on hotdogs. Doesn't sound very apitizing. On hamburgers I always put onions on them. Hamburgers wouldn't be complete to me without onions.

mustard is really really good on a hot dog but by itself its just doesn't taste the same without ketcup. but ketcup by itself taste good regardless. so i would have to say ketcup my favorite condemate i put it on just about everything! so thats what i prefer thanks for sharing and happy mylotting, my friend.
