Do you ever run out in the rain just to feel it?

I have not done this in many many years. I used to enjoy doing that as a child. If the rain came while we were on our way home from school you could bet we were going to enjoy every moment of it and worry about our parents when we got home. As an adult I feel quite the opposite. I donot enjoy the rainfall very much and definately avoid getting wet at all cost.

I love doing this, on a nice warm summer day when the rain just starts falling...of course i stay indoors if there is lightening around, but if it is just a nice genlte rain, i enjoy it. It kind of makes me feel at peace. The feel of the raindrops falling and hitting my skin, the wonderful warm, wet smell in the air...it is just so refreshing! I will often choose to go for a long walk if it is raining out. So many times i have done this and people have pulled over and offered me a ride to where ever i am trying to go (between my friends, and all the people i work with, it is nearly impossible to walk through my town without SOMEONE offering me a ride), but many of them just don't seem to understand when i tell them i am just out enjoying the rain. Granted, this year i have gotten a little sick of the rain as we have had so much of it. The month of june was a particularly rainy one for us here in maine. I think for the entire month we only had like 8 or 9 days where it DIDN'T rain for most of the day, so i was tired of it and coudln't bring my self to enjoy it. Though if the weather stays nice for the rest of the summer, you can bet that some the end of august or into september while the weather is still nice, i will be out there enjying my walks in the raindrops.

well, i am not running but i will walk outside just standing in the rain or take a walking during the rain but ,it should be small rain hehe i love this feelings

I did this when i was cleaning in the back yard. no one was around then. i was cleaning fallen leaves with a broom while washing myself in the rain. but i didn't last long there, i just stayed there for only 15 minutes tops. but after that i went straight to the bath room and took a bath again..

Yes I have in the past. When I was in native place, kerala, I daily go to river for bath and spend about an hour or so in water swimming to and fro the banks of the river Manimala(Thiruallla,Kerala).I used to play in the rain in the fields with friends. Now also I wet in rain for some time. Now it is raining here. Feel very happy to have rain. Thank you.

Yes i have such experience before . It's very cool doing that . Mostly i enjoy walking in the small rain . i feel air is so fresh and wind is so wonderful. Now i don't care what others think although i care before when i was a young girl. Live a life you want , just go for it.

Well, there are times that I really love to run out in the rain and not just feel it but to play and enjoy. Despite the fact that I am grown up already, there are just times that the kid in me will take over. But I do this when I am at home. I actually did not have much chance to do this when I was young since I was asthmatic. I am glad that my asthma was completely cured. Now there is no stopping me to enjoy.

I like the feel of the rain. It washes away all the sadness in me, like an embrace. Its very comforting.

hi,justbeingtiffany lol...when in the childhood, always caught by the rain, cause without rain outside, and then maybe got a cold. but now, i always take an umbrella with me, so no chance to get caught.lol... but i do want to have a try, caught by the heavy rain, and then have a hot shower,lol...that will be a beautiful feeling and experience, hehe

yes i love just going outside when its raining. It is a calming sound. One time i was at my friends house and it was pouring rain. We went outside in our rainboots in t-shirts and shorts dancing. I will alway's remember. I had a cold the next day but it was all worth it: )

The weather is very hot and I like rain water

hi, I usually see the view when rain comes.But when i am out shopping or moving around with friends i use to run in rain.With friends we use to enjoy in rain.But in house i use to see from windows. I FEEL HAPPY WHEN I AM RUNNING RAIN AFTER THAT I WILL BE SUFFERING FRom cold for 2 days.....

love it but it makes me feel sad and think deep under the rain lolx.. i dont get sick but i feel sleepy and lazy . . :D waaaa..

Yes. I love the rain. When i was younger, my sister and I would run out of the house like a couple of giggly little girls that we were and dance merrily in the rain. We would play games in the street, drenched from head to feet. Then we would come home and our mother would scold us. Then we'd have cough or colds or fever. LOL. Our mother would scold us for being silly. It was sooo worth it. It's different now, though. I still love the rain , but i don't go out anymore everytime it does. I guess some things just change when you are older. But I'd love to try it again sometime.

I did this yesterday itself!Nice to find a post on it.I love the drizzle and not the heavy rains.When it is a light drizzle I find myself craving to go out and play about in the rain and to dance and sing.No experience for me is as exciting for me as getting wet in the rain.Last month I sat next to the window,allowing the rain-drops to touch my face and hair and the result was a high temperature the next day.Obviously I did not enjoy that but that did not stop me from venturing out into the rain again.And I will do it again and again.

Oh i love the rain. I like the feeling of running in the rain, it's fun. And it also reminds me of my high school days where my friends and I ran in the rain just to try to rush back for classes. It was memorable. Maybe next time I'll try to dance in the rain ;P

yes i waiting for rain to come when ever it comes i feel it by just walking in the rain, when i walking in the rain this remind the good ones that are happened that day to me,so i really like to walk alone in the rain

I do run out when it rains because it cools my body. Its hot here where I live.
