I have heard of this, and have been tested for it. Wheat allergy is quite common, but not many people are aware of it. Sensitivity to various food types can cause a huge variety of symptoms that are usually attributed to something else. You would think that in this day and age food sensitivity would be routinely tested - it would save an awful lot of money and bad effects from medications. My favourite foods vary all the time, I don't think that there is anything that is always my favourite.
