Are you a fan of Tim Burton films?
e.g.: The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, Big Fish, Sleepy Hollow, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Sweeney Todd, The Corpse Bride
I absoluetly adore all of his films, and his "style." One of my all time fav movie characters is his version of Catwoman- played by Michelle Pfifer.
He's making an Alice in Wonderland movie that's going to come out spring 2010. I'm sooo excited for it. Alice seems like such a good fit for Burton's style.

I love Tim Burton's work and I've really enjoyed everything he's done that I've seen. I haven't seen all of it (Corpse Bride for example -- though I do own it), but what I've seen I've at least enjoyed. Even the stuff that wasn't spectacular was really good and highly entertaining. I'm rather excited to see the new version of Alice in Wonderland. Haven't seen any previews or anything for it, just a picture of the Mad Hatter hanging at the theater last week. But I'd like to see Burton's take on the story. Should be interesting and entertaining, at the very least.

Tim Burton is my favorite! He hasn't made a movie that I don't like. I am really psyched to see Alice in Wonderland. I love that he uses Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp a lot too. They are two of my favorites and I think they have amazing on-screen chemistry together and they are both kinda kooky.

Yes I am. In fact I own most of those you mentioned. Accept for CHarlie and the chocolate Factory. I am a fan of the original with Gene Wilder. I am looking forward to Alice in Wonderland.

You know, I haven't seen more than half of his stuff, but I bet I'd like it. I loved the movies of his I did see (Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). I have a sick, twisted side that loves weird, dark stuff like that, so I think I should watch more of Tim Burton's work.
Regarding Alice in Wonderland, OMG. That is my absolute FAVORITE Disney movie. It is already a dark movie without the help of Tim Burton, so I would have to say that when he finishes that one, it will be a MUST SEE! I can't wait to see where he takes it!
Loved Catwoman. Meow!

Absolutely. I believe Tim has a style all his own and I honestly don't know a soul who doesn't love at least one of his works. My brother is also a big fan of his. My personal favorites are the dark and creepy ones but even they hold some sort of message for the viewers.

I love Tim Burton. The new Alice and Wonderland flick looks really good. My husband was reading an article about the movie about a month a go and the author said something about not realizing Johnny Depp was in the movie. When we looked at the movie pictures, we picked him out right away.
I am really looking forward to his new animated film coming out 9/9/09 called 9. The previews during Coraline (I think we saw it before one other movie as well...maybe Star Trek?) looked great.

I enjoy his films but I wouldn't call myself a Tim Burton fan. My favorite Burton film is Edward Scissorhands. I'm really interested in the Alice film because I love all the characters and the fantasy setting. I really hope he doesn't let the viewers down. :]

I loved Edward Scissorhands and The Corpse Bride, I expected to HATE Charlie and the Chocolate Factory because I so loved the first version of it, but ended up loving it too. It wasn't the SAME as the first movie, nor as the book, but it was still very, very good. I'm kind of worried that he might make Alice a darker movie than it was written, he rather did that with Charlie, but since he didn't make it totally darker, I guess he could probably pull it off.
I viewed Nightmare before Christmas as a takeoff of the Grinch, but in a Tim Burton sort of fashion - heck of a lot BETTER than the actual Grinch movie.

I actually own all of the films you listed here .
I've been waiting for Alice for years. He actually announced around the same time as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory came out that he was working on getting the rights to Alice, that he'd been wanting to get his hands on that one for a long time before. There is an amazing "unofficial" trailer for it on YouTube. There has also been a rumor that he's remaking Frankenweenie into a feature length movie. gleeeee
In the meantime, 9, which, of course, comes out September 9th, looks absolutely incredible.
I think the only Burton film I didn't enjoy was Planet of the Apes. I even liked PeeWee's Big Adventure but Planet of the Apes was awful.

I like most of Burton's movies, but I absolutely LOVE Alice in Wonderland. If I end up hating the movie, I might have to boycott Burton forever.

Yeah, I Loove the nightmare before christmas. ive never actually seen the whole thing, only certain scenes tat are on youtube. But ii loove it, i love the songs in it. but i like wat he makes. like the darker side of stories. sweeny todd looks sick. in a good way. sleepy hollow is awesome, the new charlie n the chocolate factory, it was okay but it was kinda creepy in a way, it took away from the original cuteness of it.
