Has anyone ever moved their Wordpress and Domain to a new host?

I am looking for advice. I wish their was a plugin that I could use to make this move but I am having a difficult time finding one.
The reason I want to move is several fold. First the host that I am using makes you have to log-in every time you want to upgrade a Wordpress plug-in. Secondly they cost $24.95 a month and for every new domain I have to pay an extra $10 one time fee to get it hosted. Their support is mediocre. The host that I already have two blogs, a forum and another website at only charges $9.95 and allows one to add unlimited domains. Their support is excellent and timely.
So I have a situation, either keep on paying for two hosts, one of which doesn't give good support and costs more than the other, or possibly move the two Wordpress blogs that I have at this host to the less expensive one and lose data in the process as I am not sure how to make the migration.
Any advice or comments would be helpful.

It depends if both hosting could help you transfer wordpress. But, wheen I moved hosting and I'm using wordpress, I'll just do a back up through PHPmyadmin or export all the post you have from wordpress and download the wp-contents files. Then when you move in to new host, all you have to do is create new wordpress through either fantastico or do it manually. After that, you can just import what you exported from wordpress dashboard or restore the back up you have made.
