How are you enjoying the Summer / Winter ?

Im from West VIrginia and I am enjoying the warm weather. I LOVE summer. Its so great. Whats even better is that my birthday falls in August. The best thing I enjoy about it is wearing flip flops. :D. ANd getting to give yourself pedicures so your feet look good in them.

God morning greenline, I live in south sweden, and here it is summer to. And it is my favorite season to enjoy. Using no socks and let my feets feel the green gras is the best feeling, and to not have to put on to much clothing is also nice in this time of the year. And it take only a couple of minutes for me to go to work. I am not fond of the winter season, it gets cold, slippery roads which make it difficult to walk outside and make me have to go to work erlier just becouse of it. In this time of the year I would like to do what the bears do, go to sleep and wake up when the springtime and all the slippery roads are cleard.

Our temperatures have been a little below normal. It was in the low 80's for a few days last week. Its warmed back up now to upper 80's and low 90's. We had a really dry summer up until a week or so ago.

Well I am in the US, Massachusetts. We have hardly had any summer weather this year. We have had so much rain, it's really odd. I just looked at the 15 day forecast and it shows chance of rain or thunderstorms for every day... We have had about 5 beach type days and mostly in may..lol It's just crazy the way the weather has been. I was able to go to the beach last week in the morning and then it was raining again at night. Oh well I am going camping in August, probably the second week. I hope we have sunny weather by then...

Well, I'm coping with the summer. It hasn't been so bad this past week. I haven't hesitated to take my dog out at night for a walk because the heat and humidity aren't as opressive. This past month the temperature was constantly in the 100s. I like this time of year, but I always look forward to the fall.

Hello! Ahhhhhh!!!! What summer LOL . Where I am now it has been cooler and so much more rain than sun. I tell ya it is something to get used to. But on the nicer days and all I like to swim and hike , and well just be outdoors. Lately , I enjoy the track and even in the rain.

I am green with jealousy. I would love to go to the mountains but I am stuck here. But unlike summers before, this one has been cool and pleasant. I hate being hot and sticky, my usuall state in summer, but this has been a great summer. i went to a BBQ Saturday and it was not too hot and we had a cool breeze. Unheard of for Northern Virginia in July.

LOL. Sounds like we may not be too far apart. I'm in northern BC Canada and we've been having a GREAT summer this year. My children and I have spent alot of time next to the Kitimat River. It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. If I had a completely reliable, running vehicle and some extra money; I'd probably do like you and head to the Rockies. It must be just gorgeous in the pass right now.

I live in the northern hemisphere as well. I am in England, a small country in Europe. It is summer here from June to August. This year the weather has been cool and rainy for much the time. Today was sunny and quite warm. Really the weather is incredibly changeable. I don't enjoy the winter which is from December to February all that much. I think cold weather isn't something that I like. Summer is by far my favorite season.

I live in the a tropical country, Philippines, so we only have 2 seasons, Summer and Rainy season. We dont get to experience Winter, as much as we do, and much as the old folks hate it knowing they wont be able to stand the cold. During summer, we make it to the point to go out to the beach and have really fun! Right now, its the start of the Rainy season until the end of the year, this is also the time of the year where storm comes it. Its even raining for the past few days because we have the ITCZ.

well, i am in China, northern hemisphere too. here summer is very very hot..feel like burning outside. we just cant live without A/C while in winter. its not so cold...only few days are cold by the way i am living in south of China warm weather hehe

It is "supposed" to be summer here but the weather has been very weird and it is recorded the worse summer in 105 years... I really don't enjoy this kind of summer, rainny and chilly... I like ot have nice and hot summer so I can enjoy the nice sun going to the beach...

hi,greenline i'm on the same hemisphere as u, lol...so i'm enjoying the summer. hmm, in the summer, rafting is a really an exciting and cool activity. i just came back from it last week.lol.. and the swimming is also very suitable. but so bad, i dont know how to swim, wink... enjoy the green fresh secnic environment is my lovest activity, but cause now too hot, so stopped to climb,hehe...

I'm in Shanghai in China. It's summer now and it's really hot. The temperature has just risen to 40 centigrade degree a few days ealier. I can't believe it but it just happened. It never happened before. Fortunately i'm enjoying my summer holidays so i can stay at home whenever i like. And yesterday after the solar eclipse and a heavy shower, it's much cooler now.

This summer just like the past few summers I haven't done anything. Nowhere to go and nothing to do. I at least get to college this summer. I haven't been swimming in forever o on a vacation. I wish I could enjoy my summer.

I don't really like the summer, but this summer hasn't been so hot as past summers. I have started going to the lake to swim. That has make summer much more enjoyable.

Hi greenline! I have been to the canadian rockies and they are beautiful! That was in the summer of 1989, the same year I went to Banff. I haven't really done anything special this summer. I just volunteer at the EASI barn where I ride horseback. I walk outside a lot. I also practice for the drill team outside and there's a lot of walking involved there. Kathy.

I stay on the hot zone, so i don't like summer surely because ti was very hot.I like in the winter,my country winter had 10-20 c it was a cool weather.In winter i will travel to Chaing Mai and some provinces in The North of Thailand,They are 10-15 c.I like the winter.

here in india it is summer and it is quite hot here but i still enjoy it by sitting in my rum and playing pc games or surfin on the net
