I like movies just like the next person, but the economy has really slowed me down. Even though I do not get the movies when they first come out, I chose to watch them at home. I have satellite and most of the cable companies also have the option of pay per view. It is a good way to watch movies for a cheap price in the comfort of your home. If your lucky that movie you have to watch will be on the special $1.99 station. You can not even rent a movie for that figuring cost of movie and gas.

The pleasure of watching movie at home is surely cannot beat the excitement when watching them in cinemas. recently i watched tranformers in the cinema. few days later I watch it again on my tv. Not nice. No excitement. Even though my home theater is excellent. I thought the pay per view is only for old movies. Correct me if I am wrong.Ciaoo.

It is for older movies. They hit pay per view usually about a week before or on target of the dvd coming out. I know it takes out some of the excitement grant you, but the cost I save lets me watch more pay per view and enjoy other things i like to do. At my house we even have movie nights where we invite some of our friends over to enjoy the movie. Each friend or couple takes turns hostinig these movie nights. It just cuts down on our cost and some of our friends have children so theaters are not an option right now with them. I do appreciate your response

You are the queen of the $1.99 movies! LOL I can't resist the $4.99 ones though. I'm too impatient to wait until they go to the cheap channel.
