the sweetest thing..

I fell in love with a team mate at work who was not into me at all. One valentine's day 2 years ago, I filled her work station with pink stick notes, literally sticking it with 143 manually-cut heart-shaped stick-notes covering her computer screen and desk and cubicle... I left her a small box of chocolate cake with a hand-made card, asking her out for that night for dinner... She sent me back the card with a reply that says "no, i can't..."... I made another hand-made card out of stuff around my work station that could be cut by a scissor and went to the break room during lunch to personally hand it to her.. The card simply says "I do not regret meeting you and falling in love with you even if you care less about me and push me away all the time... But I cannot allow to to regret not giving me a chance to show you what true love really is. Please, come to dinner with me tonight..." Then on the bottom of the card, there was a check list with 2 check-boxes. One for "Yes, I'll have dinner with you", and one for "NO, go to hell"... An hour later, a common friend of ours dropped by at my work station with my 2nd card, and as I opened it, she had checked the first check-box... ???
