Every day, I sleep before 12 am and wake up at 6 o'clock in the morning. Usually I will have 30 minutes in the afternoon. For me, enough sleep is very important. I can not concentrate during class time if I do not have enough sleep. Moreover, having long sleep does not mean you have enough sleep. Quality of the sleep is more important that the time spend to sleep. Enough sleep make you have a good energy to spend you time in the morning :D
What is you opinion about this? Do you have enough sleep today?

Well im not sure. See I get around 12 hours of sleep. But I dont sleep till around anywhere from 1-4am. So I dont know if that would have a negative effect or not. In fact 12 hours may be too much sleep. ugh. What do you think?

I've read that adults only need about 7-8 hours of good sleep. If you're oversleeping, it usually means your not getting quality sleep and your body is trying to compensate by sleeping longer. Also... the longer you sleep, the more tired you will feel, leading to more sleep. Its a weird cycle.
I don't sleep well. I toss and turn, and wake up often. I still don't know why. But it does lead to me oversleeping :/

I received enough sleep but I don't think my quality of sleep is good because I've been having many bad dreams recently. Once I wake up, it feels like I've been running all night from monsters. I believe that sleep really does help a person get through their day. I wish I could take 30 minute naps like you. If I take a nap, it has to be at least 4 hours long.

this is what happens to me everyday.i sleep less than six hours in the night and ten to twenty minutes in the afternoons.usually afternoon sleep is not good its long time belief.but after working from six to past 12 noon one would like to sit and relax for short period.its not in my lot.silly i have to attend all sorts of things in the afternoon respite.so quite often i do not sit down to relax.it is relaxing ones calf muscles if we sit for a brief period.not every body can do things which are good for us.one has to sacrifice some of the comforts for taking care the home.fine.

good evening,dik_an
I 'm now enjoying holidays so i sleep at 11:30 and wake up at 8:00 .
But if i'm at school, i usually sleep at 12:30 and wake up at 7:00.
And I sometimes take a nap for about 1 hour.
I agree with you that long sleep doesn't mean good sleep. I used to sleep till noon in the past. But I didn't feel vigorous. On the contrary, i feel tired and boring. Besides, i missed the precious morning time. So it's very important to sleep early and get up early!

I know I havent been getting enough, luckily it doesnt really make me grumpy I just drag butt alot. I still get done what I need to but sure takes longer to get the umph up to do it!
Last night our 2 year old woke up at about 4 in the morning and wasnt having a good night so of course neither did we! lol
I also have a bad back and sometimes it is just impossible to even get a good nights sleep even if I can get to bed early. I wake up when I move at all at times and that doesnt make for a good sleep!

Well, I usually get a double whammy. I know I don't get enough sleep. I usually go to bed somewhere around 10pm falling asleep sometime around 11pm. Then i have to be up at 4 am (usually) to get ready to go to work by 5 am. The double whammy part is that when I know I have to go to work, I usually do quite a bit of tossing and turning and I wake up several times during the night, look at my clock and go back to sleep. So my quality of sleep on the nights before I have to work, isn't long enough or of a very good quality.

sometimes i do have enough sleep but in some days when i sleep in the evening i often find myself sleeping late in the night and that is how i skip some valuable sleeping hours late in the night, sometimes i wake up feeling so tired because i slept very late, i would love to have a steady sleeping pattern

yes too much sleeping is good but not that good but early to bed and early to rise is great you feel wonderful and morningful so sleep at its best and wake up at its best..
i dont think sleeping late is good, because it will be a heavy wake for me. But if you sleep early that will make you more comfortable.

I believe I do get enough sleep since I sleep early together with my son then I wake up to check on my husband if he is home from work. I usually like to sleep at nights and even if I sleep around 4 hours it is okay with me because I feel energized already. But if given the chance to sleep more than that would be great as well.

Yeah I think that sleeping helps our body to regain back the energy used during our waking hours. I slept at almost two last night since I was trying to configure our newly bought wifi router and it took me the whole night configuring it. I could not sleep until I gave up working on it and woke up early again to conitnue my configuration. I was successful this morning but I am a bit drowsy and is not fit to work right now. I sure do hope I could finish my day well at work.

I am not really sure if I am getting enough sleep. I sleep from midnight and wake up at about 8am the latest, but I still feel soo sleepy in the morning and I feel like going back to sleep. I had to drag myself out of bed everyday. I don't know it that is because of lack of sleep because if I count the number of hours I am suppose to be asleep that is already 8 hours, but my body seems to keep telling me that I still need more sleep. I am not able to take naps in the afternoons since I have work the whole day.

I definitely do not have enough sleep. I sleep around 1am and wake up about 5 plus. but this morning, after sending hubby to work at 6, I went back to sleep and woke up at 8am. I seldom do that because my daughter would wake up early abt 7 plus. But this morning she woke up a little bit later. So i feel better. but somehow i seem to get used to the routine after some time. However lacking sleep is not good for my complexion. that's my main concern. i have eyebags.

I don't think I have enough sleep, I woke up at 4am to prepare the things of my children who would go to work and sleep at 11pm as the ealiest, Though I take a nap of about an hour everytime I get sleepy in the afternoon. On Sundays, however I wake up at 6am as it's their day off. I am used to the routine maybe as aside from a slight headache sometimes, I feel okey.

I will make sure that i have enough sleep every day. I usually go to sleep at 12.00 and wake up at 8 a.m in the morning. That means i sleep about 8 hours a day. Enough sleep makes me more energetic during the day and i can concentrate more on my study.
