Saving for a laptop

I am saving some of my article money for a laptop.so which ones do my Lotters suggest? I don't mind paying a little more for one if it is reliable and the battery life is longer.I could do...

I have an HP, and i LOVE it. Only thing is that it has crappy battery life. No joke. After maybe 45 minutes that the most, you need to plug it back into an outlet. Most laptops arent good with battery life, though. I personally like PC's better than MAC's. a lot of people like the apple ones, but they are mac. If you dont care much of which kind it is, then maybe the apple ones. They're really good, i've heard. =]
