The little Chihuahua, Gidget; that played the Taco Bell dog. Died late Tuesday at the age of 15 from a stroke.
The dogs trainer Sue Chipperton said "She made so may People Happy."
Little Giget also had the leading dog role in the movie 'Legally Blonde'. I thought this cute little dog was adorable. I loved the one commerical where they made it look like she was saying:: "Here Lizzard, Lizzard, Lizzard!!"I collected all 5 of the Taco Bell Stuffed dogs they put out when that commercial was running. It is sad when cute animals like that die. Just like movie stars!

Those were such cute commercials. I hope she was well taken care of and had a great life. Oh, she was the one in Legally Blonde? Cute. That was a fun movie. Well, another one bites the dust, huh? Or becomes dust I guess I should say. Heehee. "Here Lizard, Lizard, Lizard!"

Oh... I did like that dog - and I don't usually like chihuahuas. I just never thought of how old she was. But thinking about it, it makes sense, those commercials are old.

That sucks! That would have made me 10 years old when he was born. I love that guy!
He had all the cool lines and he was an icon for Taco Bell. It would be a shame if they replaced him with a look a like. I think taco bell needs to find a new icon now.
Anyone have any idea to make a new icon that represents taco? I can't the chihuahua was the best representation taco bell would probably ever have. You can remember taco bell just by seeing other chihuahuas walking around.
God bless you guys and the taco bell dog!

I had to bring it up. I was suprised nobody else mentioned it. Guess Giget was no Micheal Jackson, lol :)

You know its interesting, I actually think about this dog sometimes. Usually, I wonder how all that works. I mean if your kid becomes some type of entertainer the money the kid makes is his. Who gets a hold of the dog's earnings? I am sorry to hear that. He was a cute little dog.
