Hello fellow myLotters,
Recently I have stumbled on to a lot of controversial topics here on myLot, and thought I would add my own to the mix - how many of you believe in the existence of dinosaurs?
How comes it is only up until (the last two centuries) that individuals have finally started to piece together dinosaur fossils, and arranged these fossils for exhibition in museums? How can we verify the integrity of these fossils, so that none of them are fake or tampered with - is it even possible to find ALL the fossils of an organism in tact and in the same geological area after their purported death, considering the various agents of erosion? Was there any mention made of them in ancient texts or codices?
Maybe they actually did exist, as there some records citing "Behemoths" and "Dragons". Perhaps they were wiped out as it is purported by an Ice Age, or a huge meteorite.
Inquiring minds want to know your opinion on the topic at hand! :)

I don´t think the existance of dinosaurs at one time is a matter of faith. It is a cientific fact. It´s as true as the fact that we are all grandchildren on an apelike woman that scientists called Lucy. There are means to prove it. One of them is C 14 but there are others too. Codices have nothing to do eith dinosaurs because they were on Earth before man started to write.
Happy posting

Hello marguicha,
I assume from your post that you are a proponent of the Evolution postulate. I respect your opinion and thank you for sharing your point of view with me. However the itch bit for me is that according to my Christian beliefs, God created all livings at once, including humans and dinosaurs, and thus they would actually be present when humans were there, thus leading them to record it in the aforementioned codices.
If they weren't how did the dinosaurs end up there? :)
Thanks for sharing and happy myLotting!

If not how else did they end up there? :)
