I am not very sure but as per the time and situation when our national anthum was written it doesnot seem to serve the purpose as our national song does. It appears that the song was written to prays the english queen during her visit to India and if so i dont understand why its accepted around soproudly as our national representative at international level. Dont we need to know the truth and feel comfortable with it, Why dont we have something much Indianin place of this as it says all about the rulers and not the country, are we still figheting for freedom? Do think on this and read what we sing between tye lines.
