Making a store logo is not easy..Some are renting s good artist just to create a very artistic logo that will communicate what you are all about. Keep in mind that the logo must work for the signage_not too thin or too long that it wouldn't be readable. How about you guys, post your comments on how to make a good logo about your service or product....

Making the logo is nor easy not difficult.
For simple logo you can use photoshop (its very good tool).
For advance logo creating you can use abode illustrator or Inkscape(freeware).
For making logo more explaining (making animation) use 3ds max.
It can be small for printing it on cash memo, but you can add more detail for banners.

My step-daughter has created a couple of logos for my businesses. I believe she did them in PhotoShop. The importance was to keep it simple, make sure the logo reflected the image or main purpose of the business, and pick the color[s] that best reflect on the business. For my spiral of lights Judaica website, she used an image of swirling lights; for my spiral of health, international website, she used an image of spiraling dna, and for my tutoring website, she used an image of a smiling emoticon with a graduation cap. All of these logos were simple, reflected the name or purpose of the business, and the color scheme grabbed your attention.
