Has anybody here read the book? I saw the movie version, directed by the wonderful Sofia Coppola, a few years ago but never really bothered to read the book. I loved the movie, though and I thought the storyline was truly haunting.. made me feel a bit uneasy but it had its charm. I bought the book yesterday and Im supposed to get it tomorrow.. Im quite excited. Anyway, of you've read the book and got some thoughts to share.. please do.:-) Thanks!

I have the book and I read it years ago, I liked it although having watched the movie beforehand I found myself continuously comparing the story lines and what had changed. I may actually read it again, seeing as I have forgotten most of it!

I actually did not know that it was a book, silly me. I have watched the movie, but now I think I better find out more about the book so I can read it!
