I did double duty today. I went in and got my cleaning and I also got a filling. TO my amazement I was out of there in 90 minutes! Only problem is the novacaine didn't kick in right away soooooo he gave me extra and I'm beyond numb! Did I mention I didn't eat breakfast this morning... I was really afraid when I was young but now it's not big deal. Once you have a baby a trip to the dentist is a cake walk in my opinon. Are you afraid to go? Do you get your teeth cleaned regularily?

When I was in primary school, I was so fearful when the nurse came with a file & start calling the names of all the students who need to go for dentist check-up. I always hope that my name will not be called...but my name was in that LIST.... :( We have to follow the nurse to the dentist, the reason why I am so fearful because the nurse and trainee destist are so fierce! They keep scream at us to open our mouth wide wide, sometimes we just couldn't, already maximum! They do not explain the procedure and let us understand and be prepared emotionally. As an adult I still do not like to go and see the dentist but I still go for the yearly check up, cleaning and when necessary. But now I'm not so fearful because this private dentist is very nice, he explained to me what is the process and give me encouragement and give me confidence. Very good dentist, he is the best! I just wonder why can't all the destist be like him, gentle and very understanding!

I usually get a dental check up, I love the feeling when the dentist is cleaning my teeth, and I never been afraid of going to a dentist even when I was still a child.

I was SOOOOOOOOO afraid when I was little. You couldnt get me in a dentist's chair at all. I would kick and scream and cry if they try to take me. Now I dont mind. Ive been there already a few times and am now saving up for a root canal. Its weird too. I dont even mind getting the novacaine either lol.

my dentist picks on me because I am so tense. Yes...get regular cleanings and I'm not sure what it is...the sound or the metal but I do get uptight. It is never as bad as I would imagine and always such a relief when it is done and over. I'm the same way with getting my eyes checked. I do it but don't like it.

i don't like to go to dentist, but i do go there regularly. thanks God, my teeth are very good. i don't need any medical treatment. i want to there just for regular cleaning work. because i heard in some clinic they don't use disposable equipment, it would be not safe to our health. so i'm very keen to choose a good clinic, even i need to pay a little expensive price. i have one clinic it's most expensive in my area, but i want to get better service. so even my income is slim, but for this service i would like to pay. it's a little luxurious to my economical level.

How often do you go to the dentist and get good news? I hate dentists and I go only when I have to. I have been to dentists that tell me that I need to floss more and that I have a cavity. Guess what? I have an addiction to flossing and I do it like 5 times a day. So I will go to another dentist and I magically won't have any cavities. I have had a lot of bad experiences in the dental office and I dislike the lies they tell just to make money. Dentists aren't excited to see clean teeth. They want to charge you up the butt.

I am very afraid to go to dentists. My mother always books me two appointments with dentists twice a year. She wants to make sure that my teeth are in right shapes. To me, the most disturbing about dentists is the smell. I just can not stand it.

the only reason i am afraid to go to the dentist is of how much they charge and how much the bill is going to be. i have no dental insurance so anything i have to pay has to come out of my pocket, hence i do not go very often as i cannot afford it.

I dread going to the dentist, so much so that I would postpone the appointments. And it usually ended up with skipping the appointments totally, until I have a problem with a tooth or two. Terrible, isn't it?

Oh yes, I'm one of those who will only go to the dentist if the toothache is very bad. otherwise I wont go to the dentist. The smell of the dental room and the sound of the drilling machine combined to make me fearful of dentist. I think it's all the fault of the school's dentists. Those are the really lousy ones, and when we were young, seeing our classmates returned with bloody mouth was so terrifying.

nope i'm not afraid to go. dentists are one of my bestfriends. i love going to the dentist to have my teeth checked as i am very particular when it comes to dental hygiene. i have cleaning and dental checkups regularly. although i don't have perfect teeth, i do want to keep all of them that's why i consult the dentist. i had no such fears when i was a kid. my aunt who was my dentist when i was a kid always made me feel good when i see her. she always had this great smile and persona that's why i always had a pleasant experience with her. i didn't mind the pain. i knew then that it was part of the program.

haha, I have never go to the dentist, but if you have some problem with you teeth, you had better go as soon as possible, or it will annoy you all the time.
