gifts for occasions

Hi abhaykrovidi, Well, it depends on the friend to whom I gonna gift!!! If someone says that they gift diamond jewelery, I wouldn't mind befriending them. A gift should mean a lot!!!!!!!!! A book is a gift you can open again and again. Giving a gift is just trying to remind the opposite person of the importance he/she holds for u. And its not easy to come up with something really nice for an occasion. You have to know the person really well or be very perceptive while interacting with people. Nevertheless a good gift leaves a lasting impression. It need not be a costly one but it needs to be something that gets the message across in our own style... and it definitely works... for instance with birthdays it depends on who the person is..if they are very good and close friends then i know what they like or don't like. And before their birthday or before the occasion comes i try to find what they recently are looking for.. i always give cards for sure..its either an artifact for guys n a card... with women its flowers, chocs or perfume and a card.but the combo keeps changing. With a little search one can find really good cards with funny messages..when i m low on the moolah its always cards then.... And hey if they happen to be a close friend they would understand.... If the persons is very very close and special to me, Then best gift I can give him is a hug!
