I am not close at all with my sister

Hi Gracepets, Since you're writing this, it shows that you want to be closer to your sister. Both of you should really try to ignore what your parents say when they're comparing you. I would talk to my sister about it and let her know that you're not trying to compete with her and that you don't agree with what your parents say. Let her know that you're there for her.

My brother in 2 years older but we never fought.. well, not counting that one time he kicked me in the eye and that other time when he knocked my tooth out... My parents went about it very smartly though, they made sure that nether me nor my brother feel like we are less loved then the other one... plus we always shared room, can't really not be friends when you have to share room i think... he is actually my #1 protector when my mom starts yelling at me lol... I don't know if you can undo what was already done, but try talking to your mom about it, tell her that she shouldn't compare her kids... you two are different people, you are unique...

I am very close with my little sister, she is 8 1/2 years younger than me but we are always sharing good times which I am very happy about. I think it is because I always be the big one and accomoodate her with lots of stuff and she likes this big sisters, makes us close all the time.
