So how do i strike up converse around here? I have a million and one idea's that i would like to talk about and I'm really unsure how or where to go about posting them, no one seems to want to respond to the post I've already added (granted it wasn't a nobel prize winning speech, i'm not Harold Pinter) and i feel its cos I'm a newbie (from what I've read its because i might be a troll, pffft). One of my posts even asked for advice on contacting admin and as yet no replies. I would have thought that an admin request is important enough to warrant "someone" responding, informing me how.
I am not b*tch*ng or moaning, i just feel I've got off to a bad start and would like someone to help put me onto the right path please.
I have read all of the FAQ's and to be honest only some of them helped. can someone please help a newbie in need?
Thanks =]

ok, here's my advice...find discussions that interest you and start responding to them. meet some people, make some friends, THEN start your own discussions and a lot of the friends that you've made will return the favor and respond to you. hope this helps:)

naw, no one will think your putting your nose in where it doesn't belong. it's part of why we're all here:) i know at first it can be a little difficult but most people here are really friendly and helpful and, especially when they see that you are trying, some of them will go out of their way to give a hand, so to speak:)

I don't think that maybe that was done intentionally. There are a lot of members adding posts at the same time and sometimes, its just a matter of timing when people spot your post and if they could relate to it, then maybe they'd drop some response. so, start with topics that interest you first so that other members will caught on to that as well. ;)
