Gone are the days when with a normal roll one could take only 36 snaps. So, there were limitations on the total number of photographs.Since the quantity was limited , preservation was easy. Now with digi cams being almost zero costing with infinite potential, I m actually flooding myself with numerous photographs. So with every location I visit, I have thousands of good pics. Now my real question is what to do with all these shots ? Just preserve them as a piece of memory bites on my pc or a CD.What should I ultimately do of all of them ? Any suggestions please ?

I like to share my photos online! There are lots of online photo sharing communities. One of the more popular ones is Flickr.com. My personal favorite is deviantART.com. I just really like the community over there. What I like about sharing my photos online is that you upload your photo, then other users comment on it and give their feedback!
As for storage, I use external harddrives to store and back up my photos. I sometimes burn CDs or DVDs, but not very often. I also occasionally print out photos and put them in albums.
