help and advice needed pls!!

hi all, i have a beautiful 13 month old irish blue staffordshire bull terrior. another member of my family owns her sister too. my dog has not had a season yet but the sister has? can anyone tell me if there is an age on when they come into season or if i am just over concerned?!!! i wish to have her opersted on to stop the seasons but have been advised to wait until she has at least been in season once....aarrgghh!!! im confused :0( thanku xxx

Its no problem at all. My aunt had a small dog who was never fixed. She bought a small pair of panties, and cut a hole in the back for the tail to stick out. This stopped the dog from peeing around inside the house, and made the dog easier to live with. Dogs that are not neutered are more active and make better pets. When you neuter a male dog he just wants to lie around all day. If you don't cut his feed way down he will become fat and lazy.

I dont know anything about those type of dogs but I know cats can go into heat at about six months and dogs are probably the same. I'm sure that you will have some dog owners respond to you about this question. I'm sure there is somebody on here who is knowledgable about that. Good Luck.
