Are there any Filipinos here who's following our national team? They have a bad record in the Jones Cup right now at 1-5. But i believe that they are hiding their real strength. Can you post your opinion about the team?

yes, its been pretty dismal so far. i guess there's something missing on their lineup, maybe they need more shooters bcuz their big men are overpowered on the inside. the shooters will really loosen up the inside defense a bit, in my opinion. ;)

I agree with you. I am a ginebra fan but i think that Cyrus Baguio doesn't deserve a spot on the team. Dondon Hontiveros or Jimmy Alapag should be on the team instead of Baguio. Nonetheless, I still believe that they are hiding something for the REAL competition next month!

i guess so too. in one interview with coach yeng, an international reporter even asked why jimmy alapag was absent from the lineup. its not turning out good for the team, especially with jayjay being hampered by his injury :(

The team lack good and consistent shooters from the outside and they need to rotate the ball quickly in order to offset their height disadvantage and judging from their games in the Jones Cup,the lack of teamwork is very evident. They have a lot of work to do in order to made a credible showing in the ABC Championship this coming August.
