I was just curious what time you all put your kids to be bed & what time they wake up in the morning? We just recently changed my daughter's bedtime. She used to go to bed at 10pm but then she would sleep until 9am or so(she is 13 months old). The out of the blue she started waking up at 6:30am & would be screaming her head off & then would be so grouchy the rest of the day. A few fellow mylotters suggested changing her bedtime to an hour earlier. So far its worked. She goes to bed at 9pm & now she sleeps until 7 or 7:30am & she seems in a much better mood when she gets up, except for today...but she is getting her 2nd tooth so that would explain it.

My children have always been late bodies. Of course, both my husband and I are too.
From the time that they were born, we set bedtime at 10 pm and it works for us. My oldest is going to be starting 1st grade in 3 weeks, so on school days, she goes to bed at 10 pm, and her alarm goes off in the morning at 7:15 am. She does well, but she is much older than your daughter.
My son is 2-and-a-half, and he also goes to bed at 10 pm. He, however doesn't have a set time that he has to be up in the morning as we are stay at home. He normally wakes up somewhere between 9:30-10 am. He too does very well with his time. Neither of my children have ever been the type to wake up really early in the morning.
I honestly think as far as children and bedtime goes, I think it actually depends on the family and the situation. You have to figure out what works for your family and stick with it.

I make my kids sleep around 9:30 pm as such they have to get up early in the morni ngs as they have to reach school by 8:30am and for that they have to be by 8:00am at the bus stop to catch the school bus on time. They never say no and they quiely obeys us.
