When we start a discussion sometimes until 3 days or 4 days after we start, stil there's someone who response to our discussion. Do you check this? Do you always check how many response you get even after 2 or 3 days after? Do you add your comment to the one who respond your discussion 3 days after that discussion has started?

I always check back and answer people and then go back a few days to see if anyone else has replied to my discussion. I try to reply to everyone when I start a discussion. I see alot of people don't alway do this from I see.

I don't get to monitor responding to the responses that I get from my discussion. If
I find time and I don't have any discussion to respond to or no new discussion coming
on my mind, that is the time that I go back to my previous discussion. I am just
being curious,do we get any credits if we get to respond to the discussions that we
make? what is your opinion on it? I am confuse.

Same with me,,but I always check the number of response I got even after 3 or 4 days after,,hahaha^^,, I only put comment if there's question in the response, but I read all of the responds I got. I think we get credits too if we commented on other who response to our disc. because as long as it's a post we get the point. I've ever search about it too(we have credit or not for make comment on the discussion we make) and the answer is yes. There's one lady who said we don't have to worry about wasting time commenting on our own discussion since we get credits too!

That is also what I know. I have asked some senior members here. The best thing that we can do as of this moment is to experiment. we can try to respond to our own discussion, and let's see what will happen the next day. happy mylotting!

Yes we are earning for all out activity here including the comments and it doesn't matter at all how old the discussion is. If it is here, still we will earn.
I have just received some new responses on some of my discussions which were started over a year ago and I have commented back to them and seen my earnings increase too so keep commenting and it keeps the discussion alive (and your pocket lined too )

Lately it really depends on the amount of time I have to be active in here. Because with all the many things going on in my life at this time, it does seem like there is never enough time to do all I need to do, plus take time to be active in here like I wish. Plus with all my Health issues since I had cataract surgery have made time limited in here as well. But I am trying to get more responses back to my discussions and choose Best responses no matter how old they are here as well.

Sorry to hear about your cataract surgery,,hope you'll be fine as soon as possible. Yes, you're right, sometimes I don't have time too to always active here, comment back on response or make response,, but I'll do my best^^,,
You're a nice person, always choose the best response no matter how old they are.
Thanks for your response^^,,

Sure, I'll check it. It doesn't matter to me if the response was a few days after I posted the discussion or even years later. And if I have something to say to the respondant, I will comment back, no matter how old the discussion is.
I don't get notified on comments so I usually check the discussions I've started to see who replied to it last. That way I don't miss out on anything and I might just comment back on those as well.
Keep in mind that if we make it a habit to do this the better chance that our discussions will still be seen by others. Yep, even the older ones.
Happy mylotting!

Hi sacmom
That's right and now I start to check it. I started this discussion when I don't know about email notification, so it was really frustating, must see my discussion from time to time without know exactly there's new respond or not.. Now I enable my email notification and now I know about new respond, comment, etc. Yeah, I guess we can get notification about comment on our discussion too
Hmm, even the older one, like this discussion, thanks for still respond to this discussion!

I try to go through all my discussions at least once a week to make sure I've not missed any new responses and then try to respond to them if I feel it's necessary. Although it usually ends up that I just go through the most recent ones because they tend to be the only ones with any new responses.

Yeah. There is always someone who responds to a discussion even after months. Whenever anyone responds to my discussion I`ll get a mail from mylot to my ID.(I think everyone gets this). This helps me to look into the discussion and respond to them. Mylot favours only those who are active and make useful contributions. Therefore it is always necessary to comment those who respond your discussions. But I don get mails for those who add comments to my comments. So I think I am missing out such comments. Planning to take a measure to keep track of that also.

Sadly we do not get notifiers for comments and we have to keep a look out for those ourselves. I check the 'started' tab above here and see who the last user was who reponded and then I know if something else has been added. I find that is the quickest way to notice it.
Happy Lotting!
