If you happen to believe that there is a hell, who do you think is going there?
P.S. If you become am Atheist or a Buddhist (like me) you don't have to believe in hell anymore. Wouldn't that be fun? :p

No one! Because hell doesn't exist. It's a mere figment of imagination.
I'm an agnostic and I find the eastern concepts of religion more sensible. (As much as I know and understand them) And there's no such concept of heaven or hell in Buddhist, Hindu, (The original Vedic Hinduism, not the Puranic version)Jain or Taoist religions.
Importantly, if an anthropomorphic extra-cosmic God as mentioned in the other religions exists, then the very existence of hell would be contradictory to His nature of compassion as the very religions claim. They make us all zombies or puppets with the strings in the hands of that imaginary character. And look at the biggest irony: We're given a free will and if we decide to reject the God's tyrant business, we're cursed and sent to hell. All this after the God gave us a 'lesser brain and sense of understanding' to not recognize Him. Anything sillier than this?
Personally, I find a lot of sense in the monist (Vedantic) philosophy, but I haven't studied it in depth. However the basic premise is pretty fine!

NefariousFox, not all Christians believe in the catholic dogma of a burning hell of torment for sinners. I believe that if I die yes I am going to hell because in my christian beliefs hell is the grave. The question in my religion is will I be resurrected unto everlasting life, the jury is still out on that one.

NefariousFox, I had a lot of the same feelings towards Christianity that you currently do. The main reason was because of everything I had been told about Christianity was by those who knew so little about the religion they said they were practicing. In truth Buddhism and Christianity is not far apart in the terms of thinking. It wasn't until I got my hands on a copy of the old king James version and I studied it without the preconceptions of the catholic church doctrine that I began to realize that what they had been telling everyone was a lie.

The rapture is yet again a new teaching of the Church, The first century church did not have this view. It developed this view much later. He is talking about the resurrection not a rapture.

Then, who does God think is going to hell? Not you, obviously. But me, that's trickier, isn't it?

Buddhism, the best religion in defining everything with logic. I am more towards buddhism myself though i am not a monk.

I don't believe in a literal lake of fire and brimstone "hell". To me, any "place" in the after life where a person isn't with God is hell.
If I thought being Buddhist was the true way, then I'd be a Buddhist... whether it was "fun" or not. lol
