Hey all hope you are all enjoying being here in mylot.
Well, I'm the new librarian at my office and am in the process of creating the do's and don'ts (technically rules and regulation). I did browse though a few library R&R online but i would personally like it to be a little funny/creative than the serious tones all these R&R typically have.
So, do you have any creative/funny ideas to share? Please do respond with your idea;)

Hi div!
Congratulations!! This is indeed a great news and the fact that you are hoping to make things interesting even in a drab and austere profession like librarianship speaks volumes of your creativity. I just rated your drawings and thought that they are excellent. No wonder you are creative with lot of colors to make things interesting.
There are ways you can improve the quality of readership in your library. Firstly, make the environment colorful, vibrant and lively. Trust me, most libraries are old and drab. You can and greetings and cards on the member's birthday and give them an extension of the subscription on special occasions. A little creativity can change the whole experience of reading. Good luck!

Well congrats! Though I don’t know much about this, but I have always thought that a librarian’s job was worth envying. For one, I love reading books so as a librarian, one gets free access to so many books. And then the atmosphere of a library is so cooling and soothing…I would have taken up one if it ever landed on my lap.
About R&R, sorry cant help really…I think the rules are OK.

My hearty congrats on your new post. Hope you can do well as the librarian. I have no experience in working with a library. So, I don't think I am the right person to give you ideas. It is a good idea to search online, collect rules and policies, and cutomoize it according to the situation of your library. All the best to you.
