The realities of medical care reform are: If Obamacare is passed: ~Most people will have financial access to medical care they need or want. ~Some people won't. ~Many people will go without medical care. ~Many people with treatable trauma and disease will die. If Obamacare isn't passed: ~Most people will have financial access to medical care they need or want. ~Some people won't. ~Many people will go without medical care. ~Many people with treatable trauma and disease will die. If some Universal Medical Care that isn't Obamacare is passed: ~Most people will have financial access to medical care they need or want. ~Some people won't. ~Many people will go without medical care. ~Many people with treatable trauma and disease will die. If our current system is improved: ~Most people will have financial access to medical care they need or want. ~Some people won't. ~Many people will go without medical care. ~Many people with treatable trauma and disease will die. If absolutely nothing is done: ~Most people will have financial access to medical care they need or want. ~Some people won't. ~Many people will go without medical care. ~Many people with treatable trauma and disease will die. The one thing we know that will definitely happen if Obamacare (or any other universal medical care) is adopted: More power and corruption will infest our elected offices.

More power and corruption will probably infest our elected offices whether or not the Obamacare plan is passed. However, what will also happen is the American people will be on the hook for billions(possibly trillions) of $$ more. The plan would ultimately do away with free enterprise in the medical specter and take away people's choice in choosing the medical care they need or want as the government would be prescribing who does or doesn't get the care they need. It scares me to think a partison political entity might have access to all my medical information and be able to make decisions about my care. This should be a private matter between a patients and their doctors. The Obamacare plan would kill a lot of people.

Yes, the infestation would continue, so why should anyone support a bill whose only achievement if passed would be to increase the corruption.
